Just for background information on why the change was needed. The Heuser folks initial proposal was for back to back training sessions. We changed that to make things as accessible as possible for all OFD members.
Unfortunately because Heuser reimburses their employees for mileage, having split sessions five days a week threw into a financially losing position. They were wanting to increase our costs, which would have been problematic.
So in an effort to come up with a resolution that isn't financially adverse to either the fire district or Heuser, we negotiated a happy medium.
I believe this will still make the Heuser classes available and accessible to the majority of our volunteer members, at least three times per week.
The reason why we're seeing a difference in start times every other week is due to instructor availability.
This is a major undertaking with a lot of unique variables. We knew all along that some fine-tuning, adaptation and overcoming would be needed. Hopefully all of the dragons have been slayed, but we can't be sure until this moves forward.
Thanks for the understanding of why changes were needed.

I am unable to make tuesdays or thursdays, and doing strength training on the same muscles 2 days in a row does not give those muscles the time needed for them to repair themselves, making day 2 a waste. I have been making every monday evening, wednesday evening, and the second saturday class each week, and so far have lost 13 pounds. I love this class, and appreciate the oppertunity that you have given us to get our lives back in line.
Please make wednesdays a double evening class instead of a double morning class.

I agree with Lee about evening class on Monday and then again on Tuseday. Monday and Wednesday evening classes do make a lot more sense than Monday - Tuesday.

Lets not forget about the opprotunity to go down to Heuser.Maybe we can set up some days and times to meeet at a station and ride down together to cut down on fuel cost, ride with Cary if he goes or with the chiefs blessing we can use something from a station.

Thank you Chief for that background information. Bubba there is no wasted workout. I workout 6 days a week and I promise you I kill all the same muscles sometimes twice three times in a row.
Anyone can go Downtown or east for classes and if you want a partner call me, I will be happy to come up and workout with you.
Congratulations on loosing the weight!! Keep it up!!
